I was so excited this year to be able to host Thanksgiving dinner at my house. You may not know that I also have a passion for cooking. It always is that time when I get to relax from dancing, take a break from being "Tiffany, the Tooltime Tailor", and instead crank up Sinatra, pour a glass of wine, and be creative with food. And Thanksgiving is the best excuse to get crazy and also indulge! I invited my lovely parents and family friends and a special women I met not that long ago who is a country rock singer/ songwriter. It was a crew from some movie, lol. And it was the best table of people. We each went around and spoke of what we were thankful for blah, blah, blah. Everyone had great words and it was quite sweet and inspiring. I was last. I realized in sitting among these people, that each one of them was truly there for a reason. this year at that exact moment we all came together to celebrate each other. Whatever reason was more of a purpose and I need these beloved faces. I told them that and tears were shared which made it extra sincere and meaningful. Then we finally ate. My cornbread stuffing turned out amazing if I do say so myself. Barbara brought sweet potaoes that are always a hit. My mom made stuffed mushrooms and zuchinni stacks and food was had that evening. We lingered into the living room beside the fire and continued great conversation and company. Thanksgiving, I find, is one of the most meaningful holidays and I think its important to make a day, even if its not "thee" day. Celebrate whats important in life like friends and family. Hope you all had a wonderful time with your loved ones. What a wonderful life :)
